The Green Party-led recount will look at whether Russia interfered with the U.S. election.

…the Clinton campaign’s top lawyer, Marc Elias, noted in its opening paragraphs that the election, the Democratic Party, and their campaign was repeatedly targeted by the Russians.

“This election cycle was unique in the degree of foreign interference witnessed throughout the campaign: the U.S. government concluded that Russian state actors were behind the hacks of the Democratic National Committee and the personal email accounts of Hillary for America campaign officials, and just yesterday, the Washington Post reported that the Russian government was behind much of the ‘fake news’ propaganda that circulated online in the closing weeks of the election,” Elias wrote on Medium.com, then elaborating about their private investigative efforts to assess the impact of Russian interference in the campaign.

Going even further, the first recount petition filed by the Greens, in Wisconsin, primarily focused on Russian hacking, not on the more easily understood line of inquiry of different voting technologies reporting different margins of victory for Trump despite their locations. The Green’s petition opens by stating they believe “an irregularity” has occurred affecting the entire state. It goes on to say that in August, “foreign operators breached voter registration databases in at least two states and stole hundreds of thousands of voter records” at the same time the email systems of the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign were hacked and put online.

You have to have a primary focus to begin, but once you start looking, you look for anything. The media and political pundits blaming and accusing Russia may also be cover for activities by Americans. In a world of lies and deceit, anything is possible. Look and look with an open mind for all possibilities of election fraud or vote tampering. And above all else be very transparent about what you find.

hey MM, I think you should read, if you haven’t already, Burr by Gore Vidal. Nothing in the political arena has changed other than now the usa has the ugliest person in america as a potential head of state. I use ugly in any and all its ramifications.

An investigation might not determine who did it, but just finding out that the numbers were manipulated should be the primary goal.
I remember that when Al Franken was in the disputed election for Senator, every new tally brought up fewer questionable results, until the final result showed that he was the winner. Had there been no recounts, he would have lost the election due to election fraud.

This is a lie, Michigan uses a paper ballot.

    • mea_mark

Those paper ballots get recorded in a computer and that is where the tallies are read. I don’t think the entirety of the process is done manually and never entered into a computer.

    • Bunya

Paper ballots can be destroyed before they are recorded.

      • Red Eye Robot

They are recorded at the polling place the locked ballot boxes scan the balot serial number. The voter places the ballot in the ballot box themselves.

if there actually was Russian hacking or whatever, it was a brilliant tactic to put a fool in a big chair and watch the west dissolve – I think of Lily Tomlin sitting in a giant chair as a teenie weenie child – that’s how well rumple will fill the oval office seat.

In quite a few precincts in WI, the voter participation was over 100%, which should raise a few red flags…and surprise, surprise, tRump won there.

        • whatthe46

they are doing an audit/recount there. there were more votes cast for tRump than there were ballots in 3 districts/counties.

        • whatthe46

PA is doing an audit/recount as well.

If they investigate and find wrongdoing on the part of the GOP, the republican party may go the way of the Whig party.

        • whatthe46

it was GOP controlled, i’d bet my last dime on it.

          • Bunya

I agree, and if the democrats investigate and find wrongdoing on the part of the GOP, the election must be overturned. We can’t afford 4 years of the trumpster. Our lives, literally, depend on it.
